Pool Day

My parents are building a new home that is all one level. They are doing this to help with the laundry and up keep. Their last home also had a lot of mowing. This new home just has a lot. As they were building their home the pool company had time to do it right then. So they put it in within a week.

Can you tell my boys enjoyed it? They are about 2 weeks away from moving in. They can't wait!

Kase you are such a sweet big boy!! Look at you growing so big. You are our sunshine.

You love:
Baths

Outside time (swinging, walks, bike rides)

You love:
Crawling all Around
Going into the toy room

You nap 2/3 times per day. You sleep 7:30pm - 6:30am. But here lately you haven't been sleeping well. Teething again maybe.

You went from a size 9 months to 18!

You have had a cold this past month alon with your teething. It hasn't been a fun time for you, but you've handled it well.

I love you!!

New School Year 2016

My big boys began school on Wednesday 8-17-16. It was a wonderful summer but I really believe my boys were ready to see some buddies.

We have picked public school, for now. I say that because I truly believe that is what God wants for our boys and what is best for both of them at this time. Is it our forever? Maybe, maybe not. We go year to year.

So this year Karson is in 2nd and Kipton in 1st.

The hardest part will be them seperated during the school day. They absolutely love each other and are so close! They were excited to tell me yesterday they have lunch and recess together. That is a huge blessing!

Baby brother who is 9 months didn't know quite what was going on but I'm sure he's wondering why it's so quiet at home during the mornings.

Day 2. A little tired from a long first day and church in the evening but happy too! PE day which they love and look forward to.

Baby Kase and I will stay busy with home chores until time to pick those big boys up. We sure miss them! It is always a big adjustment for us all when they go back.

I pray for a great school year!

Summer in the Country

We take big walks to the mailbox each evening after dinner. We asked My husband not to pick up the mail when he gets home so that we have something to do each evening :) simple living there.

The goats enjoy when we are sitting on the bench. The especially love baby feet.

Which speaking of baby feet, this baby is growing like a weed. He is pulling up to stand on everything!

He also gets tired on our evening walks. He really wants 3 naps a day but will only take 2. So his sweet little head starts getting heavy while the boys play and run.

Some evening pictures of the backyard. Going out to feed and put the goats up for the night. So peaceful.

Have a great Thursday! This week has flown by!!

Modest Outfit

I have never posted about outfits or style.  It's somewhat awkward to me to take pictures of myself :) but I thought I would step out of my comfort zone and share some outfits each week on the blog.

I love to wear knee length or longer skirts. Not only are they comfortable to me, but pleasing to The Lord. I have had a strong conviction towards this for many years.

Top: Thrifted from Goodwill
Skirt: Walmart
Shoes: TJ Max - 6 years old or more
Earrings: Target

My mom is awesome at finding good clothes at the thrift store. She got this top for .99 cents at our local thrift store.

What is your modest style like? I would love it if you would share your modest outfits and share the link up!

Hope you have a blessed week!

Can you live simple like the Amish?

I enjoy simple living.

I love being at home with my family. It's the best place in this world to me.

The Amish are known for their simple lives.

Why is it that people want to visit the Amish country?

I know. I see the simple living.

Anyone can live this way.

Stay home.

Declutter your entire house.

Start with one room at a time. You don't need a bunch of stuff. Just the basics. Your home will look more clean and neat this way.

Throw away and give to the thrift store nearby.

Have your kids to help.

They don't need all of those toys anyway.

Write out a list of what room you will do each day and make it your job that day to start and to finish all in that day. Make it a challenge.

Today I am going to purge and organize the pantry.

Ask yourself: "Do I use this each week? Is it necessary?"

Stuff in the home keeps you down. It makes your home seem impossible to keep clean.

Pray that you will become more organized and clutter free.

It takes time to change your ways, but it can be done.
