Snowy December

This year so far we have had 4 big snows. It's only December and normally we get our big snows in Jan and Feb. It sure is beautiful in the country!

The boys and I made snowflake and Christmas tree pancakes for breakfast after our big snow/ice storm over the weekend. (Don't be fooled, I had to make about 10 more to fill them up)

The boys love the snow! I think the most important thing is having a good snow suit. If not, you are dressing then undressing 5 minutes later.

We went out to check on our chickens. They love when it snows because they lay so good. 11 eggs this night.

After playing a little and workin on the chicken house we headed over to nana and papaws to get warmed up in the hot tub. The boys favorite thing to do in the winter.

After dinner we came back home and there was more playing. They were out past dark playing by the light in our driveway.

We got more snow last night (1 inch) and it's supposed to keep snowing until noon today. No preschool for us! Our hill is killer and it's just not worth it. Have a good week.

Friday is the Christmas tour of Homes. I'm excited to share our home with you.
