Brothers

The boys have been up and down here latley. One minute they LOVE each other and the next they are fighting, biting, pushing, or hitting and someone is getting hurt.

I pray for the good days when they are sweet and loving towards each other.

I got this little table at Hobby Lobby. It has made things a little easier. They were both constantly climbing on the chairs to our dining table and this has stopped since I bought the little table. They both really love it.

We had friends over for dinner last weekend, and here is Josh with the boys. Of course if you give one attention the other is ready for it soon after.

Last weekend when Karson and I were grocery shopping at Kroger we got these Easter lillies. They are beautiful! Karson was so excited to show Kevin. It brings Spring into the house which I can't WAIT for. It will be here before we know it! :)

Here's to a good 4 day week!! We don't have school this Friday. Looking forward to more time with my boys.

Our Weekend

There's nothing much to update about just thankful it's the weekend and I can spend time with my boys and get some things done around the house. I always feel like I have 1,000 things to do over the weekend to get ready for the next week of teaching.

Friday we came home and had Friday night pizza :) Which I LOVE!!! The boys are getting better at eating pizza but they still aren't real crazy for it. I also got Karson's birthday party booked. He has requested a "jumpy place" birthday party with Angry Birds. He loves playing Angry Birds and I kid with Kevin and tell him that Karson is turning into a "gamer" and he needs to get him outside more. Kevin is very much anti-video games/tv for children. But he is still a HUGE outside boy!

He is always trying to make us laugh and be silly. He is such a boy!! He is also getting very picky about his clothes. He wants to pick out his own clothes and only likes certain shirts. He wants to wear the same 3 shirts all the time. It drives me crazy but I will normally let him if we are just staying home.

Here are the boys on Valentine's Day. Here is another one of the shirts that Karson LOVES to wear. It says "My Dad's a Towboat Man". He wants to wear it all the time. The boys were in my closet (one of their favorite places to hide).
Last night we went out to dinner at an Italian restaurant. We normally don't do this because the boys are at "that" age where they don't want to sit still. Karson is getting better the closer he gets to turning 3 but now Kipton is the wiggly one. They did OK, but we were ready to get out of there. We had to pick up a few things at Lowes (our 2nd home) and then visiting with Nana & Papaw.

I love these boys! They are such a joy :) (when they aren't fighting)

Teaching

After being home with the boys for the past 3 years, it has been really hard to be away from them now.
I just started teaching about 6 weeks ago, and I have really struggled with the mommy guilt. It sometimes eats me alive thinking about the boys all day and worrying about what they are doing. BUT, I know they are in good hands with our great babysitter and some weeks Kevin is home with them.

I am hoping that the daily stress will pass with time. I really cherish the weekends with them, and thankfully I get home by 3:45 and get the rest of the evening with the boys.

There is plenty of playing nicely....

As well as plenty of crying when a toy has been taken away.

This boy has a TEMPER, TEMPER!!

Since we are away from home during the weekdays we have a lot of catching up to do on the weekends. Laundry, grocery shopping, cleaning, cooking for the week, etc.

But there is always time for jumping on the mattress in between changing the sheets on Kip's bed.
HAHA :)

This entertained them for nearly 1 hour which is AWESOME!!

Can we say WINTER ENERGY :)

I love my boys so much. I am already looking forward to Spring Break in March.

If anyone reading this is from Kelly's Korner and has some advice for me to get through this "new" phase in our lives I would really appreciate it. I truly try to "make the evenings" count by really getting in my time with each of the boys in their own way.

Random Pictures

One of the few times Kipton is happy these days. He has been a little on the tempered side more than normal. Not sure what's going on. I guess it's the 18 month terribles? HAHA

These two are inseperable. Seriously. They are twins and EXACTLY alike!

Hope everyone is getting some of the nicer weather. It has been in the high 50's and 60's here. It has been heaven sent. It's amazing what good weather will do for your mood when your a little down about not being home as much. I miss my boys so much during the day.
