Day in the Life - Day 4

Thursday

I am pretty bad at keeping up with this series of posts. On Thursday we had a pretty "back to normal after sickness" kind of day. The boys were really good. We decided to head to the park pretty early at around 10ish. We walked 3 miles and the boys sat perfectly still looking and "screaming" at squirrels. LOVELY! But hey, not many people were therer yet :)

Per the boys request we played after our big walk. They had fun.

After the boys swinging in the hammock, they tried to push me which resulted in the swing hitting Kipton in the mouth and a HUGE fit thrown. He is pretty dramatic, but I guess he comes by it honest.

I packed a picnic lunch and around 12 we sat at a picnic table and ate our lunch. It was nice!

It normally takes us 30 minutes to get back home from being in town, so around 12:30 we left the park. We were home around 1 and the boys checked on their chickens and gave them food/water.

1:00-4:00 *NAP-TIME* It has been very easy to get them on the same schedule. Here latley since Karson is nearing into the 3 1/2's he is harder to keep in his room to fall asleep. We are working on this!!

After the boys woke up from their naps they heard the bull dozer. It was Papaw Brad working on our yard. It has been a work in progress for many months now. Everytime we start on it, it rains for a week and we have to wait for it to dry up. Here's to hoping that we can get it finished up and grass planted before it rains next.

That's about it for our day. I made dinner around 5:30 and we ate and then Kevin came home at 7:30. Kevin let Karson play outside some after he got home and I gave Kipton his bath and put him to bed around 8:30. Karson stayed up later and we finally got him to bed around 9:30.

That's about it for Day 4. I find that getting out in the morning helps the rest of our day to stay home and enjoy our house and the country around us.
